Natuzzi Italia, 2012. Hand-painted chair commissioned for the brand's 10th anniversary in Switzerland, exhibited alongside Pisani's paintings at Natuzzi showrooms in Lausanne and Zurich, in cooperation with ARTBANKINGCLUB. The chair and paintings were shown again that November at the grand opening of Natuzzi's Zurich flagship store, where Pisani was interviewed by Anna Meier of SRF.

Photography & Editorial

Opera Gallery, Zurich Commissioned to photograph exhibitions, including the work of Andy Denzler, and to shoot the portrait of photographer Ellen von Unwerth for Annabelle Magazine's article on her Opera Gallery exhibition. Pisani wrote about the shoot, and the strange experience of photographing a world-famous photographer, in an Artlog entry with the full set of images.

Writing

De la poule à l'œuf – de la plume aux polymères, 2023. Pisani contributed the chapter Du bois récupéré converti en œuvre d'art to this art book by Étienne Krähenbühl and Rudy Koopmans, tracing how his use of reclaimed wood evolved from building rustic log furniture from downed trees in Colorado to constructing panels and sculptures from discarded pallet wood in his Zurich studio. Illustrated with photographs of the resulting works, including his first reclaimed-wood sculpture, Misplaced Pieces of my Soul. U.S. Embassy, Helsinki, 2011. Invited to deliver the lecture Every Great Journey Begins with a Dream at the American Resource Center, National Library of Finland, while in town for the opening of his exhibition When The Morning Star Begins to Fade at Gallery Ferin.

Philanthropy

kanthari Foundation Switzerland, 2017 Commissioned to spend three months documenting their alumni network across Southern India, his 71st country. The result, art braille kanthari, became a solo exhibition and charity auction at Kulturpark, Zurich. Wanting the show to be accessible to the blind as well as the sighted, Pisani built it around sound, poetic description, and braille alongside the paintings and photographs, and spoke before each lot went to auction, drawing on the backstories behind the photographs to introduce the person and project behind each piece. Conducted by Stefan Puttaert, then Director of Sotheby's Zurich.

SOS Children's Villages, 2007–2009 Series of works sold at benefit auctions for villages in Peru (2007), the Philippines (2008), and Nepal (2009) during the Swiss American Golf Championship. The sales were conducted by Sotheby's Geneva senior auctioneers Caroline Lang (2007, 2008) and Geoffroy Ader (2009). The 2008 auction included the notable acquisition of the work on paper When I grow up, I want to be Superman by Olympic gold medalist Hans "Hausi" Leutenegger.

Make-A-Wish Foundation Switzerland, 2013 Greetings from the Bohol Beach Club, 2011 donated and sold at a benefit auction hosted by the Zurich America Center.
