Love Potion #9 takes its title from the 1964 song about transformation, desire, and things going slightly wrong, as well as a perfume by the same name. Songs end in minutes. Scents fade into silence. But the wanting, the desire behind them both, remains.
This painting starts when the song is over, when the scent has faded, while the magic of their spell is still possible. I have been chasing that same spell for thirty years. My impossible pledge. The Vorfreude of planning, the physical struggle of the approach, the tension of not knowing what happens next. This painting is a hidden artifact from my journey, a glimpse into desire that outlasts its moment.

Care Note: The matte cotton surface is prone to scuffing and absorbing skin oils. To protect the print, wear powder-free gloves (white cotton or nitrile) or handle strictly by the edges with clean, dry hands. For long-term display, keep the print out of direct sunlight and, where possible, behind UV-filtered glass. This will allow it to reach its full 100+ year rating.
Limited Editions are hand-signed and numbered. For example, an Edition 7 means only seven prints will ever exist. Once an edition sells out, no further prints of that piece will ever be produced, ensuring your piece remains rare and collectible.
