Your trust is important to us. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy, and we ensure the appropriate level of security, abiding by the statutory provisions of the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, in force since 1 September 2023) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the specific processors and service providers necessary to fulfill your order or provide our newsletter, as detailed below. All user's personal data is handled with the strictest confidentiality. In cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect our databases as far as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification.

Contact via Email or Forms

If you contact us via our contact form on the website or by Email, your data will be stored in order to process your inquiry and answer any follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent.

Access data / server log files

We (through our web provider Hostpoint AG, Switzerland) collect data (server log files) every time a page is accessed on our website. This access data includes the name of the web page requested, the date and time of the request, browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, and the host name of the requesting computer (IP address).

Hostpoint uses this log data solely for the purpose of operating, safeguarding and optimizing the site. The data is processed based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and technical operation of the website. The data is not used for tracking, profiling or marketing purposes.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or analytics cookies. Our online shop uses WooCommerce functional cookies strictly necessary for the shopping cart, checkout process, and user session management. These are session cookies that are deleted when you close your browser. Because these cookies are technically essential for contract performance, no consent is required.

Newsletter / ArtLetter

You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter (ArtLetter). To do this, we require only your name and Email address.

When you sign up for the newsletter on our website, your name and Email address are stored on our server (Hostpoint AG) and then transferred to Sender.net, which acts as our email service provider solely for the purpose of dispatching the newsletter. Sender.net may collect standard email metrics (e.g., open rates, click rates) for technical delivery and statistical purposes. We use this data solely to optimise the newsletter with regard to content and structure.

Newsletter registration is processed based on your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time by sending an Email to newsletter@josephpisani.com or by using the unsubscribe link at the end of each newsletter. Once you have unsubscribed, your personal data will be deleted from the newsletter list.

Online Shop & Order Processing

When you place an order, we collect: name, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number (if provided), and order details. The legal basis for processing is contract performance.

Payment processing:
Credit/debit cards: Processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Your card details are entered directly on Stripe's secure interface. We do not store, process, or have access to your full payment card data.
Swiss bank transfer: You will receive a QR-bill or bank details to complete payment.
Wise transfers: You will receive instructions for international transfers via Wise.

Shipping: Your delivery address and contact details are transmitted to the selected shipping carrier (Swiss Post, DHL, or UPS) solely for the purpose of delivering your order.

Production: Our prints are individually produced by our trusted production partner and delivered to our studio in Switzerland for signing and packaging. Your personal data is not transmitted to the production partner; they deliver the unnumbered print to us, and we ship the final signed work to you.

Data Retention

We retain order and payment records for 10 years after contract completion, as required by Swiss commercial and tax law. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs are retained per Hostpoint AG's technical policy.

International Data Transfers

Some of our processors (Stripe, Sender.net, DHL, UPS) may process personal data outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA. We ensure an adequate level of protection through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where applicable, certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
